Legendary quarterback Tom Brady has won more Super Bowl championships than any one NFL franchise. Celebrating his seventh title during a boat parade Wednesday afternoon in Tampa, Brady threw the Vince Lombardi Trophy from one vessel to another, completing another pass just a few miles away from where the Buccaneers defeated the Kansas City Chiefs three days earlier.
Thousands of fans attended the celebration of Tampa Bay winning Super Bowl LV on Sunday at Raymond James Stadium. The Buccaneers became the first NFL team to play a Super Bowl in its home stadium, and then became the first to win one at home with their 31-9 win over the favored Kansas City squad.
The flotilla celebration cruised down the Hillsborough River as a way to keep fans distanced during the COVID-19 pandemic. Brady was on a boat with several folks, including family members. He is seen holding the Lombardi Trophy in celebration. Then, through one angle, a boat is following them with Bucs teammates, many who are shirtless on the warm Tampa afternoon.
Brady then gently tosses an underhand pass to the guys, who hauled it in. They all raised their arms as if they'd scored yet another touchdown against the Chiefs.

Brady played 20 years with the New England Patriots before becoming a free agent and signing with the Buccaneers last offseason. He guided the Patriots to nine Super Bowls, including six championships, in that span.
Brady left a winning organization that he helped build, and he went to a losing franchise at the beginning of a pandemic. Though they had no offseason training and no preseason games to learn the offense, Brady and the Bucs went 11-5 in the regular season and had a long road to just make the Super Bowl.
The Buccaneers, led by Brady, went on the road to beat Washington in the wild card round. That's when it got tougher, but Brady didn't budge.
Brady and the Bucs went to New Orleans and beat the Drew Brees-led Saints. Then they went to Green Bay and beat the Aaron Rodgers-led Packers, sending the Bucs home to become the first team to play a Super Bowl in their home stadium.
The hype leading to Super Bowl LV was Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, who were all but anointed to be the next best team. This was the game where Mahomes was to overtake Brady as the next G.O.A.T.
Brady threw for three touchdowns Sunday night while Mahomes had zero touchdowns and two interceptions. Brady had as many touchdown passes as the Chiefs had field goals, which is the only way the Chiefs scored.
Brady won his fifth Super Bowl MVP on Sunday night, but his trophy pass three days later might be more remembered. Well, at least for this week.
