CATHERINE Tyldesley has hit back at social media trolls with a defiant message.
The 39-year-old took to Instagram to post a lengthy statement which took aim at those who judge others on social media.


Former Coronation Street star Catherine shared a snap of her posing topless, showing her in the bathroom gazing out of the window.
She wrote: "Several of my pals have been experiencing trolling' on Instagram recently.
"It's the main reason that many of us don't use Twitter much anymore.
"This platform always seemed a kinder place. But some of the comments my pals have had are totally unacceptable.

"Comments on the way people look, their careers, their faith, the color of their skin, medical choices, their preferred pronouns, their sexual orientation… the list goes on.
Catherine added: "If you can't be kind-then leave this platform and seek to HEAL yourself."
The actress added an original poem which left fans and friends rushing to comment.
