Aviva Baumann is an American actress known for playing Nicola in the 2007 Judd Apatow movie Superbad. She was born Aviva Farber in Santa Fe, New Mexico on July 10, 1984. Baumann got her start in the entertainment business as a professional dancer for the Oakland Ballet. She left to pursue an acting career in Los Angeles full-time and spent 12 years in Hollywood before retiring to Santa Fe to launch a career in woodworking. Today, she operates a woodworking company called Twig that specializes in wood earrings among other products.
Baumann’s debut acting role came in the 1993 TV movie The Fire Next Time, and she made her feature film debut in The Night Before Christmas in 1994.
